So it starts in a world with a D-day called Debtors Day, the day when people have to pay their debt to a tyrannical government. Still, if they don’t, they lose their souls. Hence, the main character is tired of this happening and crafts a plan to get everyone out of debt, but first, he wants to get himself out of debt, so he saves up money over many years and finally is within reaches of his goal. Still, one day before D-Day happens, all of his fines vanish, so he has one night to figure out what happened so he can get himself out of debt, everyone out of debt, and stop the day from happening.
